Safety of reused packaging made from recycled materials
The successive uses of packaging can have an impact on the functional properties and the alimentarity of its contents. We intervene in the control of recycled materials and packaging and develop tests of re-usability of packaging.
We accompany you in :
- control of recycled materials before processing
- the realization of challenge tests for the validation of PET decontamination processes (for more than 10 years)
- the development of a test adapted to the characteristics of polyolefins (PE and PP)
- Research and development work on decontamination processes
- support for the design (prediction software) of functional barrier materials incorporating recycled materials in indirect contact with the food
- the development of reusability qualification tests, in particular to assess the risk of contamination of the packaging during subsequent use
