Webinar – Tackling Food Waste
The AGEC law of February 2020 targets a national goal of reducing food waste by 50% by 2030, and makes it mandatory for all food operators to carry out a food waste diagnosis. To help companies meet these regulatory obligations, ADEPALE and the CTCPA have drawn up a guide offering guidelines for carrying out the diagnosis, as part of an approach to reducing food loss and waste. Technocampus Alimentation and its partner the CTCPA invite you to a webinar to discover this tool.
Conference - Environmental labelling: where do we stand and how can we prepare?
The deployment of an official environmental labelling scheme for food products in France is scheduled for 2024. The aim is to provide consumers with information on the environmental characteristics of products at the time of purchase. The public authorities' objectives are to encourage eco-design among players in the food industry, and to help consumers reduce the impact of their food. On the agenda: the regulatory context, a presentation of the system currently under construction, and the stakes for companies in deploying the system. Video: microwave pasteurization of pre-packaged food products
Since the end of 2021, the CTCPA in Avignon is equipped with a microwave heat treatment tunnel. This tunnel is intended for the pasteurization of pre-packaged food products, such as ready-made meals for example. The microwave technology is already well known and used for the cooking or tempering of frozen products, and it is now adapted to the pasteurization of processed foods.
