Introduction
The publication of Regulation (EU) 2024/2895 marks a major step forward in the control of Listeria monocytogenes in ready-to-eat foods.
By strengthening the requirements applicable throughout the product lifecycle, this new regulation now requires operators to provide documented evidence of hazard control up to the best-by date.
