Steriflow autoclave mapping: CTCPA supports C&D Foods

Published on: 06/25/2024

CTCPA has mapped out the Steriflow autoclaves for C&D Foods in 2023 and 2024. Mohamed TOURE, Sterilization Manager, talks to us about this project.

C&D Foods is one of the largest pet food manufacturers in Europe, offering specially-formulated cat and dog food for the private label market. Founded in 1969, C&D Foods has grown to become one of the industry's leading pet food producers with eight manufacturing sites across Europe supplying quality products to customers around the world.

Mohamed TOURE, Sterilization Manager, explains:

"Our company called on the services of the CTCPA to map our Steriflow systems at our two sites in France in 2023 and 2024. The aim was to carry out a temperature distribution on our various sterilizers, in order to determine whether or not there were any cold spots, and at the same time to check that our steriflow sterilization instructions were being followed correctly. The work was carried out in the field by Mr. Alexis SAUVEUR, who demonstrated rigor and professionalism throughout. We also benefited from the advice of Ms. Clémence MILLET, a true expert in the field, on various subjects relating to product sterilization. It was a real pleasure to work with them.
