Idéathon: feeding creativity around plant proteins

Published on : 15/01/2022

Do you have an entrepreneurial streak and would like to propose innovative solutions around plant proteins? Then we invite you to participate in the Ideathon: feed the creativity!

Within the framework of CAP Protein, this collective intelligence competition co-organized by Terres Inovia, Terres Univia, Le Village by CA, Vitagora, IAR and the Fondation Avril brings together multidisciplinary teams to participate in creativity workshops and generate ideas to address the following issue: how to accelerate the transition to the consumption of plant proteins in human food?

The Nurturing Creativity Ideathon is open to all - students, employees, individuals, etc. - and offers cash prizes and coaching to guide the implementation of the winning project.

It will be held on March 30, 2022from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., simultaneously at two locations: at the Village by CA in Dijon and Lille.

More information is available on the ideathon website: www.nourrir-la-creativite.fr. Registration is free but mandatory.

Plant proteins represent a major lever to meet the challenges of the food transition. The CTCPA, as an industrial technical center, accompanies and guides the actors of the agri-food industry by being involved in the whole of the vegetable protein sector.

The CTCPA participates in and contributes to:

  • Projects for structuring regional sectors ( PACALEG leader in the PACA region, FILEG in the Occitania region, etc.)

  • R&D projects carried out by the Qualiment Institute(4-CP and GERMAGE). The CTCPA is currently working on the design, formulation and realization of different recipes based on vegetable proteins with a good acceptability while meeting the needs of control of nutritional and organoleptic qualities.

  • The implementation of an innovation dynamic around plant proteins through the training and support of students in the framework of the Cap Protéines Challenge of which the CTCPA is a proud partner!

To pilot this activity, the CTCPA welcomed Gilles BERTHEAU as Head of Cereals and Pulses, in July 2021.
