The CTCPA is the coordinator of the working group "monitoring of emerging chemical contaminants" of the Al-Chemistry TMN

Published on : 04/06/2021

The RMT Al-Chimie is interested in scientific and technical issues related to the various chemical contaminations, of natural or anthropic origin, which can affect the sanitary quality of food, in a context of changing agricultural and agro-industrial practices and climate change.

This RMT started its work in 2020 for a period of 5 years. It brings together about twenty institutions representing the agri-food production chains. The program is based on three axes:

1) Identify, characterize and quantify chemical contamination,

2) Understand the impacts of changes in contamination levels and guide practices,

3) Predicting the accumulation and transfer of contaminants along the production chain.

The CTCPA participates in working groups on the monitoring of emerging chemical contaminants, rapid methods of analysis of contaminants, and contaminant flows in the food production chain in the context of the circular economy.
