The CTCPA presents its Food Safety Culture diagnostic tool in the February issue of PROCESS FOOD!

Published on : 16/02/2021

Marjolaine Cérou has written a special booklet : Food Safety Culture: how to get started. The Food Safety Culture is now!

Christine DECANIS, Food Safety Management Project Manager at the CTCPA, talks about our diagnostic tool to deploy a food safety culture in her company.

The CTCPA offers its diagnostic tool in the framework of accompanying companies in the deployment of the food safety culture according to the requirements of quality repositories such as BRC Food v8IFS Food v7, BRC Packaging v6 or FSSC 22000 v5.

The diagnosis will make it possible to :
- Make visible what people think: it touches beliefs, perceptions, convictions,
- Know what is being done: by explaining practices and behaviors, difficulties encountered, deviations from what is prescribed,
- Questioning the coherence and alignment between what we think or say and what we do.

The tool is composed of a questionnaire and a file of answers which highlights the strong points of the company and the points on which it should build an action plan.
Our tool proposes an action plan framework in order to plan and follow up the improvement of the food safety culture within the company.
We wanted to develop a tool that is easy to use and not locked in so that each company can make it its own.

The CTCPA also offers a FOOD SAFETY CULTURE training allowing to:understand the concept of Food Safety culture,to know how to implement the principles in your company, to know how to use the diagnosis tools and to set up an action plan.
