Introduction

The new ISO 22002:2025 series is the fruit of several years' work within international standards bodies, and marks a key step in the control of food safety.
With the publication of ISO 22002-100:2025, a true "base" standard common to the entire food chain - from ingredients to packaging - the series now offers a harmonized, modernized and more readable approach to prerequisite programs (PRP).
