New version 2025: Guide to food waste diagnosis in the food industry

Published on: 29/04/2025

CTCPA and PACT'ALIM wanted to propose a common, simple, easily scalable methodology for the food industry.

New 2025 version of the CTCPA and PACT'ALIM guide to food waste diagnosis in the agri-food industry. The recent clarification of definitions during the development of the anti-waste label for the distribution and foodservice sectors has led to a proposal to update the guide. This revision has also made it possible to respond to certain expectations collected during a consultation carried out at the end of 2023 with CTCPA members and PACT'ALIM members.

This guide is a technical aid to help companies understand the issues surrounding food waste, and adapt their own internal tools to meet regulatory requirements for diagnosing the fight against food waste.
