Maintenance of our COFRAC accreditation for analysis activities in the food industry / contact materials for evaporable simulants

Published on: 30/11/2023

The COFRAC surveillance audit carried out last June at the CTCPA's Emballage laboratory in Bourg-en-Bresse confirmed that we have maintained our COFRAC accreditation for analysis activities in the food industry / contact materials for evaporable simulants. This accreditation guarantees the competence and impartiality of our technical center in its laboratory analyses.
(COFRAC Essais sous référentiel NF EN ISO/CEI 17025, Accreditation n° 1-5328, scope available on www.cofrac.fr).

The CTCPA packaging laboratory in Bourg-en-Bresse is Cofrac accredited and meets the requirements of standard NF EN ISO/CEI 17025 version 2017 for analysis activities in the food industry/materials in contact with evaporable simulants (attestation number 1-5328). Accreditation attests to the technical competence of a testing laboratory to perform specific tasks. It provides a guarantee that results are obtained using validated methods and procedures that comply with precise standards.

The CTCPA Bourg-en-Bresse packaging laboratory has two laboratories dedicated to the characterization of packaging materials:

  • A laboratory for characterizing packaging functional properties

  • An analytical laboratory dedicated to characterizing container/content interactions.

The laboratory is at your service to carry out your migration tests and all the tests required to validate the functionality and safety of your packaging.

We provide our experts, tools and technical teams to support you in the safety and functionality of packaging and packaged products.

A research department dedicated to innovative materials sets up and coordinates projects aimed at developing new, competitive products that combine food quality requirements, chemical and microbiological risk control, and minimize the environmental impact of the packaging-product pair.
