The project meets one of the objectives of the European strategy #farm2fork promoting the short circuit model as a more sustainable alternative for empowering producers and consumers within globalized food systems, while reducing environmental impacts and improving the competitiveness of food systems.
The partners in the EU4Advice project, including the CTCPA, met on March 29 to share their common methodology and approach to the project. identify public and private advisors to the short food supply chain in all EU countries + UK + Norwaywith the coordination of Innogestiona Ambiental and the University of Hohenheim, Germany. Short circuit advisors (SFSC Advisors), are people who share knowledge and enable #innovation in short food supply circuits, and may not be officially recognized as advisors.
With the aim of creating a European network of short circuit advisors, the University of Hohenheim has developed a specific methodology, as well as a series of resources and tools, to enable partners to tackle the issue of short circuits. first task of identifying short-circuit advisors. This will provide an overview of the situation for short circuit advisors in each of the 27 EU member states, the UK and Norway.
The CTCPA is involved in this task for the French network. To this end, the CTCPA has been asked to complete the project partners' internal database with the main characteristics of short circuit advisors represented in France.
To complete the contacts already pre-identified by the CTCPA, we're calling on our network. If you have SFSC advisors in mind (maybe even yourself?) or networks where we can find them, please don't hesitate to contact Margaux Colombin (mcolombin@ctcpa.org) or Pauline Audoye (paudoye@ctcpa.org). We'll tell you more about the project, the task in hand and how you can contribute to this database!
