A practical guide to controlling technological risks in the food industry

Explosions, fires, polluting spills...: (re)discover the practical guide to controlling technological risks in the food industry

The food industry is one of the industrial sectors most affected by these critical accidents. They have serious human, material, financial and criminal consequences. Companies must be more mobilized on these issues. Partners of the RMT Actia Ecoval have designed a guide to managing technological risks, to help companies better manage the safety associated with these risks. A technical database on technological risks, more specifically related to this sector of activity, helps determine the prevention and protection measures to be put in place. The database is enriched with real-life examples of accidents, in the form of fact sheets which describe their origins, analyze them and set out the preventive or corrective actions to be taken. The guide also includes protocols for successfully implementing a safety management system.
