Packaging of cans and jars thanks to high vacuum: the CTCPA proposes tests on this new technology!

Published on : 14/03/2022

The CTCPA hosts a new packaging technology allowing to implement the closing of specific cans and jars under high vacuum according to the OPEN VAC® technology of the Auxiliar Conservera SA Group, partner of the Technical Center.

On the occasion of the CFIA, the CTCPA presented its new technology for closing cans and jars under high vacuum according to the OPEN VAC of the Auxiliar Conservera SA Group.

What benefits does this technology bring?

  • No crimping

  • Preservation of quality and oxidation

  • New forms of packaging

  • Heat treatment without covering liquid

  • Reduced carbon impact of transportation

  • Reuse of glass containers

For several years now, the CTCPA has been working on deep vacuum for canning. Rediscover the testimony the engineering company Sodetech, which called on the CTCPA to carry out packaging and sterilization tests on deep-vacuum canned products.

Do you want to do some tests? The technology is located on the CTCPA site in Nantes in the Oniris technology hall.

A webinar and a demo day will be organized by the end of June.
