Come and find out how data on agricultural products, foodstuffs or agro-industrial transformation processes have been improved for AGRIBALYSE® through the "InCyVie" project co-financed byADEME.
See the Batch 2 results infographic here: InCyVie Infographie lot 2
These results have been delivered to ADEME, but will only be available in the next version of Agribalyse 3.3, scheduled for 2026.
If you missed it, the infographic of Batch 1 results is available here : InCyVie Infographie lot 1. These results are already available in Agribalyse 3.2.
Agribalyse has been chosen by the public authorities as the reference base for the future environmental food labelling system. It is also used by industry players in their eco-design initiatives.
The InCyVie project began in January 2023 and will run for 3 years. It aims to create or update several hundred Life Cycle Inventories of agricultural products, foodstuffs or agro-industrial transformation processes in the Agribalyse database. It will enable a more complete and reliable assessment of the environmental impact of these products by extending the range of products included in Agribalyse, working on their representativeness and differentiating impacts according to production or processing methods.
This complex task is being carried out in three iterations (or batches) mobilizing the scientific and technical expertise of 14 partners: Acta (project coordinator with CTCPA) and INRAEand 11 agricultural and agrifood technical institutes or centers (ACTALIA, ARVALIS, CTIFL , CTCPA, idele, IFIP, IFV, ITAB, Itavi, ITERG and Terres Inovia).
Thanks to a collective and shared approach within the InCyVie project and the GIS REVALIM, the process of creating and updating ICVs is harmonized between sectors and will benefit from the methodological improvements worked on within the GIS.
