ADEPALE and CTCPA, with the participation of ADEME, have drawn up a guide for carrying out a diagnosis of food loss and waste.


This guide provides technical support to help companies understand the issues surrounding food loss and waste, and adapt their own internal tools to meet regulatory requirements for diagnosing and implementing an approach to combat food loss and waste.


It consists of the following parts:




  • Background and objectives of the guide

  • Method

  • French and European regulatory context

  • Definitions of food losses

  • Diagnostic guidelines

  • Outlook: recommendations for further reductions
