The CTCPA signs its new contract of objectives and performance 2021-2024

Published on : 10/12/2021

The CTCPA has signed with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the French Federation of Preserved Food Industries (FIAC) its new Contract of Objectives and Performance. It sets the roadmap and the strategic orientations of the CTCPA for the next four years.

Resulting from the expectations of manufacturers and commitments expressed by public policies in terms of industrial recovery (via the Recovery Plan in particular), this new Contract of Objectives and Performance signed by the CTCPA, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the French Federation of Preserved Food Industries (FIAC) is structured around five strategic areas contributing to supporting the agri-food model of tomorrow.

5 strategic axes to support the major transitions in the agri-food sector

The 2021-2024 Contract of Objectives and Performance is based on five strategic areas to support and accompany agri-food companies in the major transitions of the sector.

  1. To accompany agri-food companies towards the industry of the future by developing digital tools, control and diagnostic tools, by participating in research and development of the food of tomorrow and by accompanying the mastery of new technologies of soft preservation.

  2. To be a driving force of the ecological and energy transition by deploying CSR approaches and by accompanying companies in the changes linked to the need to preserve and limit the consumption of natural resources. The CTCPA has acquired an expertise on the control of impacts strictly related to the transformation of products (eco-formulation, eco-processes), but also approaches in a more integrated way the environmental issues at the scale of the whole technological itinerary of food products.

  3. Supporting industrial transitions in the field of packaging, in particular by encouraging the recyclability and reduction of packaging and by developing reusable packaging as part of new distribution processes.

  4. To ensure food safety by guaranteeing that processes are safe with respect to microbiological and chemical risks.

  5. To perpetuate professional skills by revisiting the training courses that lead to the integration of the sector, to improve its attractiveness and to welcome new skill profiles.

The CTCPA is committed through these five issues to fully realize its missions as an Industrial Technical Center: pooling resources and skills in favor of R&D and innovation, supporting companies and in particular SMEs and VSEs towards the industry of the future and the ecological transition, amplifying its impact on the French industrial fabric through support actions of valorization and transfer.
