Report on Acceleration Platforms for the Industry of the Future submitted to the Ministry of the Economy and Finance

This report is the result of the mission on acceleration platforms towards the industry of the future entrusted to Anne-Laure Cattelot by the Prime Minister in October 2018.
The industry of the future represents an opportunity for competitiveness and attractiveness for French companies. As such, the report's objective was to propose concrete solutions to business leaders in the industry sector, who are currently facing two major challenges: the transition to a low-carbon and more circular economy, and the digital transformation.
The report shows that in the face of these changes, Industrial technical centers (CTI) and professional economic development committees (CPDE) play an essential role in supporting SMEs, in particular to innovate, master the technologies of the industry of the future, expand and go international.
Following the submission of the report, the Government wishes to redefine a framework for working with the CTIs and CPDEs, by reaffirming their strategic priorities and setting up new contracts of objectives and performance for the period 2020-2022, so as to increase their impact in the transformation of our industry.
