Published on : 08/09/2021

From the help to use the Optinut tool to the reformulation of your products, the CTCPA accompanies you!

The Optinut tool was designed to allow food industry players to easily improve the Nutri-Score® of their products by optimizing their recipes from a nutritional point of view, thanks to linear programming.

A nutritional diagnosis component has been added, with the Nutri-Score as the flagship indicator®The tool allows the integration of constraints on ingredient quantities, prices and nutrient contents, in order to quickly identify new recipes adapted to the constraints thanks to the linear program function of Excel. The tool allows the integration of constraints on ingredient quantities, prices and nutrient contents, in order to quickly identify new recipes adapted to the constraints thanks to the linear program function Solver of Excel. It is also possible to integrate other requirements related to reformulation thresholds set by the Anses, nutritional claim thresholds...

The Actia Nutriprevius Network, which gathers actors from Actia Centers, Research and Education around the improvement of nutritional quality for a sustainable food supply, has decided to make Optinut available to all free of charge to help companies in the nutritional formulation of their products.
