Organized since 2012 by Gers Développement and sponsored by the certification body Ecocert, this unique competition supports and encourages the creation and development of innovative companies in a rapidly growing sector. This 9th edition will honor the most original and innovative business projects, so on your marks, get set... apply!
Registration is open until May 15, 2021 on the website www.concours-bio.fr
The two winners will be announced in June 2021.
Endowments
The CTCPA will offer technological services (tests, developments...) and/or a training of the CTCPA up to 3000 €.

Organic in France in 2019 (Source Agence Bio)
- 11.9 billion euros in revenues
- The value of purchases of organically grown food products increased by
1.4 billion (+13.5% vs. 2018)
- Agricultural production doubled in 5 years (2.3 million ha or 8.5% of the UAA)
- 179,500 direct jobs in the organic sector (+15% vs. 2018)
- 85% of French people think it is important to develop organic farming
- In 2019, more than 9 out of 10 French people said they had consumed organic products and nearly
of ¾ consume organic regularly (at least once a month)
