The CTCPA invites you to join the training course “Taking Action Against Food Waste in the Agri-Food Industry”!
Combating food waste at every stage of the supply chain is a key driver for the transition to a more sustainable food system. The Anti-Waste Law for a Circular Economy (AGEC) sets the following national targets: a 50% reduction in waste by 2024 in the food retail and institutional food service sectors, and by 2030 in the areas of consumption, production, processing, and commercial food service. To mobilize and recognize food chain stakeholders who contribute to these national goals, the national anti-waste label for distribution was launched in March 2023, and work on the label for foodservice is now underway. This will be followed by the development of the label for food processing by 2025.
