Alfa Laval OptiLobe: Lobe pump

The SolidC lobe pump is designed for standard use such as pumping CIP solutions (cleaning in place), fluids, water (processing, heating, cooling), washing machines and for simple transfer functions within the mentioned service range. The SolidC can be used in the food, dairy, beverage, hygiene, pharmaceutical and water treatment industries. Standard design: The SolidC Lobe Pump has been designed for cleaning in place (CIP) prioritizing widely curved internal shapes and cleanable cleanable seals. SolidC is equipped with a stainless steel motor protection cover and four adjustable feet. Mechanical Seals: The SolidC Lobe pump is equipped with either a single or a wet external mechanical seal. Both models are equipped with fixed grains AISI 329 acid resistant steel, with a silicon carbide sealing surface and rotating carbon grit. The secondary seal of the wet seal is a long-life lip seal.
